Chidwick sells high-end semi-precious jewellery. If you are unhappy once you receive it, you may return your item and we will refund your purchase (See our Returns policy below)
Shopping is easy.  Place your order online and your jewellery order will be processed within 2 to 3 working days. A next day delivery service is also available. Items will arrive by special delivery (UK not Saturdays and Sundays) or 10-12 days (Overseas orders). Alternatively call us on 01582 713 717 (UK) or +44 (0) 1582 713 717 (overseas) to place an order.
For same day deliveries within the London (Mi25), please call 01582 713 717 or 07968 096 105 to assess availability and discuss costs.

All orders will be paid for in Pound Sterling but you are able to see the Euro, US Dollar and AUS Dollar currency conversion by clicking on the relevant flag on the bottom left hand side of the site.

PRODUCT AVAILABLITY
Chidwick products available for purchase online include jewellery and gifts. All products on the website are subject to availability; as necessary, we reserve the right to limit the quantity of products we supply; supply only part of an order or to divide up orders. We also reserve the right to alter the terms or duration of any special offers or sale promotion. We will inform you if we are unable to fill your order.

PRICING and PAYMENT
All products on the website are in stock. There is a short period of time between your order being placed and the time it is accepted. Should the stock situation change during this time we will contact you immediately. We will offer a full refund and suggest similar items.
While we try to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled.
Title to any products you order on this website, and risk of loss or damage to products, passes to you on delivery of the products, provided that we have received payment in full for the products

Pricing
All prices include VAT at the applicable current rates, but exclude delivery charges unless expressly stated otherwise

Payment
You have two payment options:
1. Paypal, payments can be made through Paypal, a registered and secure electronic payment system. Paypal accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
You do not need a Paypal account.

2. Payments are processed offline in a manual way. An encrypted email is sent to Chidwick.  Payments must be verified by the card issuer.  The transaction will be charged to your credit card only after we have verified your card details, received credit authorization, and confirmed stock availability, and your order is ready to be despatched. Your credit card will not be charged at the time you submit your order.
Chidwick accepts the following forms of payment for online purchases:
          Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Switch

PACKAGING and GIFT WRAP
Every order comes within a premium jewellery box. If you’d like the purchase to be sent as a gift, do tell us as we can provide additional wrapping and a gift card. A special gift wrapping service is available and you may select this option when paying for your order at checkout

DELIVERY
Delivery charges are specified when you place an order.  Select the delivery option that best suits how quickly you need your jewels.

UK Standard Delivery: £4.95
Free Delivery on orders over £150 (applies to U.K. and Northern Ireland only)
Please allow two to three business days for process of your order unless stated otherwise, in addition to the delivery service time.  Around busy periods, such as Christmas, please allow extra time for delivery. If for any reason there are delays you will be notified immediately.
Orders are processed and delivered Monday to Friday, excluding public and bank holidays. Chidwick cannot be responsible for unanticipated delays. Please allow two to three business days for process of your order unless expressly stated otherwise, in addition to the delivery service time. Please call if a purchase is required urgently.

We can dispatch to your home, work or as a gift to someone else with a signature required on delivery to ensure safe arrival.

Delivery to addresses within the UK costs £4.95 and will be delivered by Royal Mail special delivery service (except for Saturdays and Sundays). Purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes.
For purchases over £150, delivery is free of charge.
If you are not at home when your parcel is delivered, Royal Mail will leave a calling card and you will be able to collect your parcel from your post office. Orders placed by this method should reach you on the following working day, though there may be delays. However, goods dispatched after 2pm may not be collected until the following day.
UK Next Day Express Delivery: £7.95
If you require your goods urgently, please telephone us in advance to ensure that we can meet your demands. Orders need to be placed by midday and will be delivered on the next working day. If you require next day delivery before 1pm the charge will be £11.95. For next day delivery on orders placed during the weekend or after midday on Friday, items will be delivered on the following Tuesday.  Please note that a signature will be required upon receipt.

Goods despatched on a Friday will normally be delivered the following Monday.. Orders sent via this method will require a signature upon receipt.
Delivery to addresses within the UK costs £7.95 and will be delivered by Royal Mail special delivery service the next day (except for Saturdays and Sundays). Purchases may not be shipped to P.O. boxes.
Before placing your order, please note:
*Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands may take slightly longer, and Express Delivery cannot be guaranteed next day.
Next Day Delivery is not available to the following postcodes - HS1-9, IV1-56, KA27-28, KW1-17, PA20-78, PH19-50, TR21-25, ZE1-3, AB 31, 33 - 38, 44, 45, 51-56, BT, IM, JE, GY

UK Same Day Delivery
We do not currently have a same delivery service for deliveries within the M25, however special requests can be made if you urgently need an item for tonight!

International delivery
We are happy to fulfill orders overseas. Please note that local import duties may be payable on receipt.

Parcels will need to be signed for in person so please ensure delivery address is an address that you will be at (home or work). If you are not at home when your parcel is delivered, the courier company will leave a calling card and you will be able to reschedule your delivery for a more convenient time.
Standard Airmail: You will be charged one shipping cost for your order. Upon entering the shipping country, deliveries will enter the postal system of the country concerned. It is our experience that goods delivered using this method arrive within 5-7 days of despatch for European destinations, and within 7-10 days of despatch for the Rest Of The World.
*Please note that delays can occur in customs, and these delays are beyond our control.
* The cost of shipping is calculated automatically on the billing page once the delivery destination is confirmed. Please note most orders require a signature on receipt.
Important: Any customs or import duties are levied once the package reaches its destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you may want to contact your local customs office for further information.

Tracking
An email is sent to you when your purchase has been dispatched.
If the item is recorded, we also will email a delivery confirmation once we receive notification that your purchase has been delivered
To ensure the security of your delivery, we do not provide tracking numbers, but maintain tracking numbers for each delivery. If you have questions about the delivery of your purchase, we will be pleased to assist you via email at info@chidwickonline.com.

Late or lost deliveries
If your delivery is late, please contact us and we will give you the recorded delivery number for you to chase with your local post office. In the event of a non-delivery we can only replace or refund the order after 15 working days when the Post Office are happy to classify the parcel as lost. Alternatively, we can send a replacement immediately if additional payment is made where upon the original purchase can be refunded after the 15 days has elapsed. This way you are not inconvenienced by being without your delivery. Chidwick cannot be held responsible for the late/loss of delivery.

RETURNS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
Chidwick wants to ensure your complete satisfaction. We hope you love your new jewellery but if for any reason we fail to meet your expectations with items purchased by mail order or via the internet, we will accept returns of goods not worn, used or damaged for a full refund when accompanied by the original proof of purchase.  Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.
We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.
Chidwick’s Guarantee extends the rights you have to return goods under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
Full-priced goods must be returned within 7 days (UK), 14 days (overseas)  from date of delivery; however, sale goods are non returnable.  Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Chidwick.
Exchanges are possible, however exchange items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.  Exchanges received outside of the 7 days are also subject to product availability

We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery.  You are responsible for any return delivery charges; any delivery charges already paid are non-refundable.  Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

Return of goods

1. In order to facilitate the return of your items you must contact Chidwick within 2 days of receipt. Please contact us by phone UK 01582 713 717 +44 (0) 1582 713 717 (overseas)  or email returns@chidwickonline.com to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA# ) to quote with the return.  Items need to be received by Chidwick within 7 days of UK purchase, 14 days for International Purchases.
2. If you wish to exchange, please email us with your preferred item and we will reserve it for you if the item is in stock
3. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment.
4. All items must still have the security tag on and be in perfect unused condition.
5. Please complete return paperwork
6. We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please take the item securely packed in the original packaging to the Post Office.
We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
 You are responsible for any return delivery charges; any delivery charges already paid are non-refundable. This includes  international customs duties and sales taxes outside the European Community (EU).

Return of faulty goods
1. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any items deemed to subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
Due to the natural state of our materials, each stone is unique. Inclusions occur in these stones which adds to their beauty.  Due to the individuality of the stones on occasion it is possible that we may slightly change a piece as stones are subject to availability.
2. Exchanges are possible if the item is available. We can only exchange faulty items for the same item subject to availability. If you wish to exchange, please make your request clear when notifying us of the fault so that we can indicates current availability.
3. Where possible items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.

Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery.  If you are returning the purchase due to a fault or because we have made a mistake, we will refund your postal charges incurred.
7. Please send the items to the address provided by Chidwick quoting your reference number.

Receiving a refund
Refunds will only be issued in the same form as payment. Refunds to you will be made within 30 days from our receipt of your written notice of cancellation. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non- refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU). .. We will send you an email notification once the return has been processed

Gift Returns
If you have received an item as a gift you can return it in exchange for a new piece or a credit note. This needs to be done within 7 days of receipt of the gift. You will be charged for any difference in cost and any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.

Sale Items Returns Policy
Unfortunately sale items are non returnable.
